KNEADING EACH OTHER TO MAKE BREAD!

Ladies,

We have some exciting changes this year for the Women’s program. We will be having meetings where we have a devotional time, a time for laughing, a creative time, and a time for sharing tips for taking better care of our home.  We will be using the devotional book “A GRAND NEW DAY”.

This book will be provided for you as I am able to get them. My prayer is that all who are able will come out and enjoy.

This year the Princess in Need of the King will be studying “Kneading Each other to Make Bread.” Christ is the bread of life according to John 5:35. St. John the first chapter talks of the Word. We know that Christ is also the Word. Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.  We will learn to press each other so we may rise up in Christ and Christ in us.

John 6: 35-4oAnd Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not. All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should rise it up again at the last day. And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Let us be in prayer one for another.

Our theme for the next couple of months is the courage to increase. NO not your waist line. I shared about as a body of believers we do not increase in our relationship with Christ unless the individuals increase their relationship with Christ. We looked at the Nazarite vow. It was special because it was offered to both men and women, and it was a voluntary (I want to). While they had three things to abstain from during their vow as a out ward reminder of their vow, it was not about the things they abstain from. Those three thins were the things that Samson also were to stay from. No alcohol or even grape product, no cutting of the hair and no touching anything dead. There may a purpose why God choose those things, I do not know. The point for the class was to purpose in there hearts to separate them selves for a purpose unto God, to be consecrated unto God. I thought of times that are difficult and we bring our bodies back under subjection by fasting. Of course by fasting it is not just abstaining from something that occupies a lot of our time but also to spend more time with the Lord.
I am reading the book "To live is Christ" Beth Moore. She points out that in Acts 18:2-24, Paul stops to have a hair cut. Why would God point out that he gets a hair cut when Paul does not long hair. Unless their was a purpose for pointing it out. It never says in the Bible that Paul took a Nazarite vow and the hair cut being the end of it. But it is possible. Paul had just visited a city that was very sinful with lots of temptations. So it is possible that Paul set his heart to more on the mark while in that city........
We must understand that while we daily walk with the Lord there will be times when we must take extra care. Pull our eyes back on the goal that is set before us. To be walk in the spirit we must be set apart from our flesh on a daily basis. For me to increase I really am saying "He must increase, I must decrease". Is that not my measure of growth, am I more Christ like. Or am I still walking in my flesh not obeying the spirit. Am I Lifting up Christ. Am I seeking first the Kingdom of God???????

Ladies of Grace

Our theme has been this year, "Under the power of the king the Princess makes pink lemonade."  We talked at the last gathering about your prayer closet is your lemonade stand.  My prayer is that as we introduce the themes that you do studying on your own. Seeking the Lord.

Expressing again my vision for the Women's Ministry, to nurture under the covering of Christ.  Nurture meaning to promote the development of, by providing nourishment, support and encouragement.  The goal to nurture each other by lifting up Christ in our own lives.  Let us seek to be the princess, Christ has paved the way for us to become. Let us share Jesus with each other.

In the book "The Remarkable Women of the Bible."  Elizabeth George states "Certainly this was not how Naomi had expected her life to unfold, but she was learning to trust God more.  To trust Him to work in her life through unexpected people, tragic events and difficult circumstance."  You can read about Naomi and Ruth in the Bible in the book of Ruth.

Under His Wings

"Hide me under the shadow of Your wings" Psalm 17:8.  Under His wings I am safely abiding, though the night deepens and tempests are wild; Still I trust Him.  I know He will keep me.  He has redeemed me and I am His child.  Under His wings, what a refuge in sorrow!  How the heart yearningly turns to His rest!  Often when earth has no balm for my healing there I find comfort and there I am blessed.  Under His wings, O what precious enjoyment!  There will I hide till life's trials are o'er.  Sheltered, protected, no evil can harm me.  Resting in Jesus, I'm safe evermore.  Under His wings, under His wings, who from His love can sever? Under His wings my soul shall abide, safely abide forever.

My prayers are with you and for you.

Psalm 91:1,2,4 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.  I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.... He shall cover thee with his feathers and under His wings shalt thou trust; His truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

"UNDER THE POWER OF THE KING, THE PRINCESS MAKES PINK LEMONADE FROM HER LEMONS." WE WOULD NOT ONLY EXPLORE THOUGHTS ON WHAT WE DO WITH WHAT WE ARE GIVEN BUT ALSO ON JOY.

AS I HAVE BEEN PRAYING FOR A VISION FOR OUR WOMEN'S MINISTRY THE WORD NURTURE CAME UP. NURTURE MEANS TO PROMOTE THE DEVELOPMENT OF BY PROVIDING NOURISHMENT, SUPPORT, AND ENCOURAGEMENT. THE GOAL OF THE LADIES MINISTRY IS TO NURTURE EACH OTHER BY LIFTING UP JESUS IN OUR OWN LIVES. THAT WE WOULD SEEK TO BECOME THE PRINCESS CHRIST HAS PAVED THE WAY FOR US TO BECOME. THAT WHAT HE HAS GIVEN US AND MAKE PINK LEMONADE.

PSALM 91:1,2,4  HE THAT DWELLETH IN THE SECRET PLACE OF THE MOST HIGH SHALL ABIDE UNDER THE SHADOW OF THE ALMIGHTY. I WILL SAY OF THE LORD, HE IS MY REFUGE AND MY FORTRESS: MY GOD : IN HEM WILL I TRUST...HE SHALL COVER THEE WITH HIS FEATHERS, AND UNDER HIS WINGS SHALT THOU TRUST: HIS TRUTH SHALL BE THY SHIELD AND BUCKLER.

My King, how do I love thee…?”

Psalm 18:1 I will love thee, O lord, my strength

desert or dessert

Deserts are not born as such, they exist for lack of rain. Gaby Kouchaegi

Mark 6:31-44

And He said unto them, come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat. And they departed into a desert place by ship privately. and the people saw them departing, and many knew him, and ran afoot thither out of all cities, and out-went them, and came together unto him. and Jesus, when he came out, saw much people, and was moved with much compassion toward them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd.

The story goes on and Jesus teaches them. Then the people are lined up in ranks of 100's and 50's and Jesus feed them with five loaves of bread and two fishes, and there were left overs. First recognize that Jesus was sending them to a desert place not to be dry and thirsty. Jesus was sending them there to have private time or restoring time. Verse 45, Jesus sends them on to go to Bethesaida. A storm rises up and Jesus walks out on the water to calm them. they did not recognize Him. Verse 52 says they considered not the miracle of the loaves for their hearts were hardened. Do you need to pull your self to a desert place to be restored? Has the Lord placed you in a place that appears to be a desert so you can be restored.  The desert places were less inhabited is the reason why Jesus was sending them to such a place. When we think of a desert we think of a dry parched land. There is a purpose for that land, or time.

Thank you Lord for the desert and the dessert.

"Cleanse my Lips, Lord"

When was the last time that you sat and just listened to Jesus? Because of a cold I was not able to talk without going into a coughing fit so I had eight days of listening. Seven days I did not work and was at home listening. Let me say that I got my alone time with the Lord but... it is not the same as just listening.  You would be surprised how hard we try to be heard. Just listening is something totally different. You begin to really hear the things around you. Thank you Lord for allowing me to listen.
